AFC-Holcroft controlled atmosphere brazing furnace.
This item is a vacuum purge controlled atmospheric brazing furnace system (CAB). Built in 2000 by AFC-Holcroft it was used only for lab work and can be considered basically new. Rated for 1-3 loads/hour (154-463 pounds/hour). Maximum capacity 463 pounds/hour. Operating temperature 1060- 1165F. Maximum operating temperature 1200F. Temperature uniformity +-5C. Load capacity 60kg aluminum plus 10kg steel. Working dimensions of 600 mm wide X 600 mm high. Working height of 1000 mm. Edwards vacuum pump. Working vacuum of 0.5 mbar. Maximum vacuum 0.1 mm. Heating rate >20C/minute. Nitrogen backfill. 160KW. 415 volt, 3 phase, 50Hz. Currently removed from service, dismantled, shrink wrapped and on a skid ready for transport. When new this was $750,000 USD, asking $275,000 USD. Further technical details available upon request.
